What's new in Sublyra

Sublyra is in pre-launch. This page tracks what ships as we build toward our Shopify App Store debut — newest first.

August 2026

Rebrand & pricing overhaul

  • Rebranded to Sublyra with a full admin UI overhaul — consistent status badges, per-page guidance panels and a cleaner layout across every screen.
  • New pricing: Free up to 100 subscribers, then $29 / $79 / $199 per month with transaction fees of 1.0%–1.5% + $0.19 (0.5% on Plus), each with a monthly cap. Yearly billing gets two months free; paid plans start with a 30-day trial.
  • Per-feature add-ons ($9.99–$19.99/month): unlock cancellation flows, dunning, loyalty & referrals, or API & webhooks without a full plan upgrade. Add-ons are hidden automatically once your plan covers them.
  • Locked features show a blurred live preview of the real settings with an upgrade or add-on CTA, instead of an empty upsell screen.
  • 1:1 onboarding call added as a Starter-and-above perk, bookable from the Help page and the setup wizard.

Fixes & hardening

  • Win-back discounts are now real Shopify discounts — previously the campaign could reference an offer that didn't exist at checkout.
  • Widget fixes, verified on a live dev store: other apps' selling plans no longer leak into the Sublyra widget, upsell layout corrected, and duplicate widgets suppressed.
  • All API scopes are now requested once at install via Shopify's managed install flow — no more mid-setup permission prompts that could silently fail.
  • Third-party credentials encrypted at rest (integration keys, webhook secrets, SMS tokens) and usage-fee billing wired with replay protection.
  • Audit fixes across plan gating, portal upsells and discount application.

July 2026

Customer portal

  • Subscriber self-service portal: skip, pause, resume and reschedule orders, with every action audit-logged.
  • Customer account UI extension with a customer-authenticated API, bringing the portal into Shopify's native customer accounts.
  • Cancel-and-save flow in the portal: subscribers see the save offer mapped to their cancel reason; attempts are recorded whether saved or not.

Storefront & widget

  • Subscribe-and-save product page widget rebuilt with real pricing, per-frequency discounts, savings badge and professional animations.
  • One-click theme setup: place the widget block on the live theme from inside the app — no theme editing required.
  • Theme app extension deployed with the subscribe block, plus a recommended-frequency feature and an order-status banner extension.
  • Subscription confirmation email sent on signup, with marketing-consent sync restored in the orders webhook.

Admin & retention stack

  • Admin screens shipped: Subscriptions, Orders, Customers, Analytics (Overview/Cohorts/Products/Churn), Cancellation flows, Smart retries, Loyalty & referrals, Plan & billing, Data protection and Developer tools.
  • Selling plans manager with a custom plan builder and CSV product import for large catalogs.
  • Plan-aware onboarding wizard guiding new merchants to their first subscriber.
  • Demo data seeder so the whole app can be explored with realistic data before the first real subscriber.

Foundations

  • Local data mirror kept current by webhooks — dashboards never hit the Shopify API per page load.
  • All three mandatory GDPR webhooks implemented end to end, plus handlers for contract, order and billing-attempt lifecycle events.
  • Real dashboard replacing the starter-template demo page.

What's next

  • Shopify App Store submission and public launch.
  • Outbound integrations currently badged "Planned" in the app's integrations directory.
