Map frequencies one-to-one where you can. Flag edge cases (prepaid, gifts, paused contracts) before you import anything.

Import in batches. Verify the first cohort’s next billing date, discount, and portal actions before you move the rest.

Communicate to subscribers only if something customer-facing changes (portal URL, brand name). Most clean migrations feel invisible.
